All this is done at the expense of the city budget, Kryvyi Rih did not receive anything from the National Fund to Combat Coronavirus. Since the beginning of the pandemic, almost UAH 84 million has been allocated from the city reserve fund for the logistics of hospitals, the purchase of tests for laboratory diagnostics, modern equipment, and medicines.
The coronavirus operational headquarters, created by the order of the mayor Yurii Vilkul, work every day.

On October 23, 2020, specialists in tourism services of the Department of Industrial Tourism of #Kryvyi Rih City Development Institution and lecturers of the Department of Tourism and Economics of Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University # VictoriaPatsiuk and #VolodymyrKazakov took part in a practical seminar for DMO of the second series of workshops on tourism products for all regions of Ukraine.
The seminar was conducted by NTOU, the National Tourism Organization of Ukraine, chaired by President Ivan Liptuga, and it was supported by the USAID Competitive Economy of Ukraine Program within the framework of a comprehensive program to support the tourism sector in Ukraine.

In Kryvyi Rih, after a major overhaul, a 50-meter swimming pool of the Palace of Water Sports of Sports School for Children and Youth №1 was opened, which became the best among the pools of the region in terms of its technical characteristics. Mayor Yurii Vilkul started the resumed training.
“Today is a real holiday for us because training sessions in the 50-meter swimming pool are being resumed. Now, this pool is ultra-modern and the best not only in Kryvyi Rih but also in Dnipropetrovsk region. In our city, more than 3.5 thousand people are engaged in water sports, and classes are conducted by 40 coaches. We see that swimming in the city is one of the most popular sports, so over the past five years, gradually overhauled 25-meter swimming pools in children's and youth sports schools №2,6 and 10. In the future, we plan to repair the pools of sports schools №6, 7 and 8,” the mayor noted.
During the reconstruction of the pool, the bowl was completely repaired, equipped with modern waterproofing and decorated with new tiles. Also, we replaced ventilation equipment, heating and lighting systems. For the convenience of athletes, locker rooms, showers, gyms, etc. were repaired. Construction and installation works were completed by installing modern water treatment and water filtration system, which has become one of the best not only in the city but also in the region. By the end of the year, it is planned to install heat pumps, which will allow operating the pool throughout the year, without a break for the summer season.
Finally, after a long break, the athletes of SSCY №1 had the opportunity to dive into the native water. Today the pupils of the middle group of the swimming department swam 50 meters. From them, the baton was taken over by the titled athletes of SSCY, who demonstrated comprehensive swimming for 200 meters and the pupils of the diving section.
“Young athletes, coaches, parents of our students were very much looking forward to this event. Now only in the swimming department, we train about 200 children and young people. Now new horizons are open before us. We can not only train athletes better, but also hold world-class competitions on our territory. We are very grateful to the mayor for such a convenient and modern water arena. Now we are 100 per cent ready for new accomplishments,” Serhii Samarenko said, swimming coach.
We will remind that after the refusal of mining and processing plants to keep the objects of a sports infrastructure, the city didn't allow their closing and took on the balance last year, including “Sports Palaces”. About UAH 18 million has already been allocated from the city budget for their maintenance. In addition, in different areas of Kryvyi Rih were built "from scratch" more than 175 different sports grounds equipped with simulators, football fields with artificial turf and areas for “workout”.

The outpatient haemodialysis unit was opened in the №2 hospital with the installation of 10 modern B.Braun devices of the Dialog type for patients with end-stage renal disease. During the opening of the renovated branch, Mayor Yurii Vilkul and Director of the “Health of Ukraine” Charitable Foundation Yurii Naboka signed a Memorandum of Further Cooperation.
Talking to the doctors and patients of the department, Mayor Yurii Vilkul said, “We are working on two main areas in the development of the healthcare system: construction of outpatient clinics - 50 of them have already opened and 16 more to open for accessibility of primary care for the city residents. We are organizing those hospitals that were transferred to the city a year ago. It is very important to provide timely care to patients in need of renal replacement therapy. Last year, more than 10,000 haemodialysis sessions were performed in the department. Modernization of the outpatient haemodialysis unit, increase in the number of artificial kidney devices and capacity of the new water treatment system will help patients with end-stage chronic renal failure. I am sure that we are correctly determining the prospects and this equipment will work for a long time for the residents of our city.”

“Kryvyi Rih City Development Institution”, together with teachers and students of the Kryvyi Rih Pedagogical Institution, conducted a training in the OpenSpace format “Cognitive Design” on 8 October.
The main purpose of the coach and students was to establish cooperation and the formation of social space and to identify current areas of development of the city of Kryvyi Rih.
